ATLANTA This simply was not the Giants' night. Brian Wilson stomped off the Turner Field mound in defeat aftergiving up three runs in the ninth inning. Pablo Sandoval didn'tmake it to the bottom of the first, felled by a foul ball off hisright foot. Carlos Beltran missed his seventh consecutive game witha right hand that refuses to feel better. He'll miss a few more,too. The result Monday, a 5-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves, wasdiscouraging enough. But as the injuries pile up, as the magicseems lost and as the Giants slip further back in bothplayoff pictures, there has to come a time when they are tempted towonder:
