Whiteside (concussion) goes on seven-day D.L. HOUSTON -- Until this season, when a player had his bell rung,he either had to tough it out amid the cobwebs or go on the 15-daydisabled list. Thanks to a new rule, there is a seven-day D.L.option for players with concussion symptoms.
