25 YEARS OF BANGING MY HEAD

As I looked down on the mosh pit at the Metallica concert andrealized I wanted no part of the mayhem, the thought hit me thatfor the first time in my life I felt old. I was 25. Now a quarter-century was a long time for that relative kid atGiants Stadium. It's a long time for anybody. And that's how long it's been since any one of "my" major sportsteams have won a title.
