Pagan enters outfield picture - Torres, Ramirez exit for N.Y.;GIANTS

The Giants will have a new option forcenter field in 2012. The Giants and Mets agreed on a trade ofplayers at the position Tuesday night, with Andres Torres andreliever Ramon Ramirez going to the Mets and Pagan moving to SanFrancisco. The deal was confirmed by The Chronicle, but the Giants aren't planning anannouncement until the players pass physicals.
