--OF Melky Cabrera was back in the lineup after being out Wednesday with a toe injury -- something similar to a corn, manager Bruce Bochy said. The only Giant to play every game in 2012 (he pinch-hit late in Wednesday's game), Cabrera went 1-for-5 Thursday.--INF Joaquin Arias missed another game with a bruised left forearm, having been hit by a pitch Tuesday. Initially, the Giants feared he broke his wrist and were relieved when X-rays to the forearm were negative.
