--LF Melky Cabrera homered and tripled but struck out looking to end the game while representing the potential go-ahead run. Cabrera has earned his spot as the No. 3 hitter, and manager Bruce Bochy said he plans to keep Cabrera at No. 3 when 3B Pablo Sandoval returns, though that was Sandoval's spot before he went on the DL.--1B Aubrey Huff didn't hustle on a ball he hit to deep right, apparently believing it was a home run.
