Tim Lincecum's strong start nearly came apart in the sixth inning Tuesday night, when Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp crushed a bases-loaded slider to deep right field. But the ball was caught on the warning track, and Lincecum and the Giants escaped the serious jam en route to a 4-1 win at Dodger Stadium.
