Outfielder Andres Torres will undergo surgery Wednesday to have bone spurs removed from his left Achilles tendon. The surgery will be performed in Charlotte, N.C., by Dr. Robert Anderson, the Carolina Panthers' orthopedist and a foot specialist, who examined Torres on Tuesday.
