PEORIA, Ariz. - The San Francisco Giants sent opening day pitcher Madison Bumgarner and five of eight everyday starters through rush-hour traffic Thursday night for a night road game against the San Diego Padres. Two more regulars, Angel Pagan and Michael Morse, played in a minor league game early in the day.
