Friday night's Marlins-Giants rematch will be a new experience of sorts for Henderson Alvarez and a familiar exercise for Yusmeiro Petit. Alvarez, who will start his ninth game of the season for the Marlins, will make his first AT&T Park appearance. Petit is set to fill in for the second time this season as an emergency starter for the Giants.
