Fantasies of a double no-hitter disintegrated into defeat for the Giants, who backed Jake Peavy with only four hits off Mets starter Jacob deGrom in Saturday night's 4-2 loss to New York. Peavy, the 13-year veteran, and deGrom, a promising rookie, took no-hitters into the seventh inning at Citi Field. Peavy's was a perfect game, while deGrom walked Brandon Belt with two outs in the fifth.
