Things got a little testy in the bottom of the first inning Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium after Giants starter Madison Bumgarner struck Yasiel Puig in the left foot with a low-and-inside pitch. It was a slider and didn't look intentional at all, but Bumgarner and Puig do have some history. As Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle tells it, Bumgarner barked at Puig in May after Puig flipped his bat and went into a slow home run trot.
