Giants Clinch Post-Season Berth with Brewers Loss

The San Francisco Giants backed into the post-season Thursday, clinching a National League Wild berth with some help from the Cincinnati Reds, who defeated the Brewers 5-3, officially ending Milwaukee's playoff chances.The Giants will play the Pittsburgh Pirates on Oct. 1 for the right to advance to the NL Division Series.
