The Washington Nationals didn't get the result they were hoping for in Game 1 of their NLDS series against the San Francisco Giants, but they sure did get a memorable postseason highlight. Bryce Harper got the Nats on the board in their 3-2 loss with a monster homer in the bottom of the seventh inning. It was hit to the upper deck in Nationals Park, a place not many homers go. Harper hit one there in April too. The guy who caught Friday's homer has already made a thread about it on Reddit . As far as homers go, this one was majestic to look at. What might have been even better was Harper's postgame quote. He told Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post : Harper on facing Strickland: "Came in throwing fuzz.
