SAN FRANCISCO — Bryce Harper stood at home plate watching the moonshot that had just left his bat, not necessarily to admire it, mostly because he wasn't sure it was fair. But it was something to admire all right. And it was fair. Harper hit his third homer of the Washington Nationals' NLDS against the San Francisco Giants, and this one couldn't come at a bigger moment. It tied the game 2-2 in the seventh inning , a do-or-die Game 4 for the Nats, mind you. The Giants went ahead again in the seventh on a wild pitch. Harper's homer splashed into San Francisco's McCovey Cove, so we're talking Barry Bonds territory. The scramble for the ball, of course, was fun to watch. Jayson Werth, Harper's bearded Nats bro, was pretty stoked too. More MLB coverage from Yahoo Sports: - - - - - - - Mike Oz is an editor for Big League Stew on Yahoo Sports. Have a tip?
