When asked about the 1987 World Series, former Cardinals manager Whitey Herzog shook his head about that year's NLCS vs. the Giants. Jeffrey Leonard hit four home runs in that seven-game series, but the Cards won and went on to take the Fall Classic. Leonard and two teammates from that '87 team -- pitcher Dave Dravecky and outfielder Kevin Mitchell -- threw out the first pitch before Game 3 of the NLCS on Tuesday at AT&T Park.
