KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Bruce Bochy mentioned, for the second straight day, how left-hander Madison Bumgarner planned to make himself available out of the San Francisco Giants bullpen for Game 6 of the World Series. The premise sounds unrealistic, given that Bumgarner threw 117 pitches in the four-hit shutout he tossed in Game 5, and would be working on one day of rest Tuesday night — even if it's briefly in relief, and even if it lines up (sometimes) with Bumgarner's bullpen day. "I doubt I would do that," Bochy said Sunday. "But you never know." After a team workout at Kauffman Stadium on Monday night, Bumgarner told San Francisco media he's going to pester Bochy about pitching in Game 6. Via CSN Bay Area:
