Travis Ishikawa hit his first home run of the spring and Madison Bumgarner improved on his first two spring outings, allowing one earned run in the San Francisco Giants' 7-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Thursday night. Comedian Will Ferrell appeared in the game in the bottom of the ninth for both teams as part of the 10-team spree through the Phoenix area. For the White Sox, he struck out against Jean Machi after fouling off a 2-2 fastball. He wwitched to the Giants, put on the catcher's gear and signaled for four intentional balls against Chicago non-roster player Joey DeMichele before San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy removed Ferrell from the game.
