On Friday, San Francisco mayor Ed Lee signed into law an ordinance that bars individuals -- even participants -- from using smokeless tobacco at sporting venues. The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids singled out the city and state as ideal places to further its anti-smoking agenda. The absence of urgency in the Giants' clubhouse regarding the law may have stemmed from the fact that it won't be enforced until Jan. 1, 2016.
