After considering their options for a couple of days, the Giants officially placed outfielder Hunter Pence on the disabled list with left wrist tendinitis before Friday night's game against the D-backs. Right-hander Mike Broadway was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento to take Pence's place on the roster.
