After the Houston Astros beat the Texas Rangers on Sunday, the Seattle Mariners have been mathematically eliminated from the MLB postseason, meaning that they've effectively come to the end of the road in their 2015 season. As we'll do with each eliminated team this season, let's give them a send-off that would make Boyz II Men proud . We'll look at the highs and lows of their season, what bright spots their future might hold and what questions need answering as they prepare for 2016. HIGH POINT: Let's face it, there's not a lot to be excited about here. The Mariners last led the division April 12, and were mostly a huge disappointment all season after being projected to contend for the American League West. That said, the clear standout was Hisashi Iwakuma's no-hitter . Though Iwakuma has been an effective pitcher for the Mariners for four seasons, this start was also his first complete game. It was a nice moment for a player who has probably been underrated and overshadowed in Seattle. LOW POINT: On August 10, the Mariners gave up an amazing 22 runs in one games. Making matters worse, that game was started by ace Felix Hernandez, who allowed 10 earned runs through 2 1/3 innings....
