What a game for Albert Suarez to draw for his home debut, in his second major league start no less. Facing the big-hitting Boston Red Sox hardly seemed to faze San Francisco's 26-year-old rookie. Suarez pitched into the seventh inning Tuesday night before the Giants lost 5-3 in the 10th, and the right-hander appreciated all the cheers and support from a sellout crowd at AT&T Park - even if his time in the rotation is short-lived once Matt Cain returns from the disabled list.
