The San Diego Padres opened the second half by beating their nemesis, the San Francisco Giants, who happen to have baseball's best record. All-Star slugger Wil Myers hit his 20th home run and Adam Rosales also connected off Madison Bumgarner, powering the Padres to a 4-1 victory Friday night. The Padres snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Giants, their longest against San Francisco.
