SAN FRANCISCO — Before Wednesday's game, Giants manager Bruce Bochy said the staff is considering skipping Matt Cain's next start so the top three starters are lined up for a series that begins Tuesday at Dodger Stadium. For four innings, it looked like Cain would alter that thinking.
