San Francisco Giants coach Jose Alguacil needed surgery to repair a broken nose after being hit by a foul ball during a spring training game. Alguacil was hit in the face Saturday and fell to the ground. The Giants say Alguacil had surgery to address the nose and a ''deep laceration.'' He also has small fractures in his eye socket.
