Matt Moore feels like he's had a charmed baseball life. He came up in 2012 with the Rays under manager Joe Maddon surrounded by a starting staff that included David Price, James Shields, Jeremy Hellickson and Alex Cobb. He was traded to San Francisco last Aug. 1 and is now playing for Bruce Bochy, surrounded by a starting staff that includes Madison Bumgarner, Johnny Cueto, Jeff Samardzija and Matt Cain.
