Rookie Blach, Giants battle Reds

Amir Garrett turned 25 Wednesday, and the early returns indicate this could be a very special year for him. The Reds' rookie left-hander will start Saturday at Great American Ball Park against the Giants. San Francisco will counter with left-hander Ty Blach (0-1, 2.55 ERA), who will be making his third start since moving into the rotation to replace the injured Madison Bumgarner.
