The Giants didn't lasso a left fielder in Monday's second round of the MLB Draft, but they got the next best thing: the son of an All-Star one. San Francisco's second pick (58th overall) was Jacob Gonzalez, from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. His father, Luis, played 19 years with six teams in the Major Leagues and was a five-time All-Star left fielder with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
