Two paths were dropped in front of the Giants at third base. They could have kept Eduardo Nunez, their second best hitter this year, and a guy who was seemingly banging out multiple hits on a nightly basis. Nunez fielded the position with athleticism and poise and was acquired last July for a minimal cost.
