Beede was scheduled to start Opening Day for the Giants' Triple-A affiliate Sacramento River Cats, but due to bad weather in Washington, the Giants sent Beede to San Bernardino to pitch for the San Jose Giants. Beede might go from his first start with the San Jose Giants since 2015 to his MLB debut for the San Francisco Giants.
