The San Francisco Giants will promote top pitching prospect Tyler Beede to make his major league debut against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. The Giants put Beede on their taxi squad Monday and brought him to San Francisco with the intention to activate him Tuesday. Right-handed reliever Roberto Gomez will be optioned to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move.
