Needing a starting pitcher to keep the members of the rotation on their regular rest since last Saturday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, the Giants have summoned Triple-A left-hander Andrew Suarez to face San Diego in Tuesday's 7:15 p.m. PT rematch. Suarez performed this spot starter's role April 11 against Arizona in a 4-2 loss. He threw three shutout innings before the D-backs rallied for four runs in 5 1/3 innings off him.
