Rookie southpaw Andrew Suarez (1-4, 5.65 ERA) will make his first career start against Philadelphia opposite right-hander Vince Velasquez (4-5, 4.08), who struck out a season-high 12 batters in a May 10 win over the Giants at Citizens Bank Park.
