Austin Slater had three hits, including two RBI doubles, when the Giants continued their best month in two seasons with a 2-1 victory over the D-backs on Friday, backing another strong start from rookie Andrew Suarez. D-backs starter Patrick Corbin did not seem to have his best stuff, but the left-hander managed to crank out six efficient innings in a no-decision.
