The San Francisco Giants activated right-hander Johnny Cueto off the 60-day disabled list to start Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Cueto, who had been sidelined due to a right elbow sprain, will be making his first appearance for the Giants since April 28. San Francisco optioned infielder Kelby Tomlinson to Triple-A Sacramento to open up the roster spot.
