The San Francisco Giants activated pitcher Jeff Samardzija off the disabled list Saturday morning, and manager Bruce Bochy will waste no time getting him back on the mound. Samardzija (1-4) is coming off four rehab starts for Triple-A Sacramento. An MRI at the time revealed inflammation but no structural damage.
