A right hip ailment will keep Buster Posey from participating in next week's All-Star Game. The San Francisco Giants catcher was selected to the Midsummer Classic for the sixth time in his nine full major league seasons, but he will rest after getting a cortisone shot to relieve hip inflammation once the first half ends Sunday, according to manager Bruce Bochy. It is unclear if Posey will be ready to return to action when the Giants get back from the All-Star break July 20 at Oakland.
