Stratton rolls into 7th, but Giants fall late in NY

For six full innings Tuesday night at Citi Field, Chris Stratton used a mechanical adjustment discovered at Triple-A to blank the Mets. But the right-hander will have to look for moral victories after what unfolded in the final innings of what became a 6-3 loss. The loss dropped San Fran eight games back of Arizona in the NL West, and 7 1/2 behind Colorado and St. Louis for the second Wild Card.
