San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey could miss the remainder of the season if he opts to have surgery on a troublesome hip, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on Tuesday. Giants manager Bruce Bochy confirmed that the possibility of season-ending surgery had been discussed. Bochy said the surgery would aim to fix Posey's labrum while cleaning out bone spurs.
