The Giants traded right fielder Andrew McCutchen to the Yankees, the club announced on Friday morning. In return, the Giants received infielder Abiatal Avelin, who was ranked the Yankees' No. 23 prospect by MLB Pipeline and right-handed pitcher Juan De Paula.
