In a 3-2 loss to the Padres on Wednesday night, a weakling Giants' offense was limited to one hit for six innings. Aramis Garcia, muscling up for a two-run homer in the seventh, got the Giants on the board, and Abiatal Avelino got his first MLB hit, but he Giants were losers for the 86th time this season and for the sixth time in their last seven games.
