The Giants announced Tuesday that they've acquired right-handed reliever Jake Barrett from the D-backs for cash considerations. Outfielder John Andreoli, whom the Giants claimed off waivers from the Rangers last week, was designated for assignment to clear a spot for Barrett on the 40-man roster.
