Right-hander German Marquez took a no-hitter into the eighth inning en route to his first career shutout Sunday afternoon, allowing the Colorado Rockies to salvage one win in their four-game series against the San Francisco Giants with a 4-0 victory. Nolan Arenado smacked his first home run of the season, a three-run shot in the fifth inning, giving Marquez (2-1) all the offense he would need as he threw his first career complete game. The 24-year-old retired the first 15 Giants in order before hitting Kevin Pillar with his second pitch of the sixth inning.
