The San Francisco Giants placed catcher Buster Posey on the seven-day concussion injured list Thursday. It is unclear when Posey sustained a head injury, but The Mercury News reported that he took multiple hard foul balls off his mask last weekend in Cincinnati. Posey, 32, is batting .245 with two homers and 13 RBIs in 32 games this season.
