Robinson Cano had two hits in his last 18 at-bats before going on the injured list May 22. NEW YORK -- Robinson Cano was removed in the fifth inning of the New York Mets' 7-0 win over the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday with left quad tightness. Cano had been on the injured list since May 22 with the same issue but was activated and returned to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game.
