Larry Baer will return as San Francisco Giants president and CEO on July 2, the team announced Saturday. But Kerry Crowley of the San Jose Mercury News reports that Baer will not be wielding the same level of power upon his return. On March 26, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced that Baer would be suspended without pay until July 1, 2019 after video of a physical altercation between Baer and his wife, Pam, surfaced.
