Prominent MLB website predicts the Giants’ free agency fate. It’s not pretty.

MLB Trade Rumors, one of the longest-running and most prominent sites covering professional baseball, posted their annual free agency prediction column on Tuesday. The site predicts that both Madison Bumgarner and Will Smith will leave San Francisco on multi-year contracts. MLBTR thinks both pitchers will end up playing for the Minnesota Twins — Bumgarner on a four year deal worth $72 million, and Smith on a three year deal worth $42 million.
