The Giants reportedly have signed first baseman and outfielder Darin Ruf to a minor league contract. The Athletic's Jayson Stark was the first with the news on Ruf who spent the last three seasons playing in Korea. The 33-year-old batted .313/.404/.564 with 86 home runs, a .968 OPS and 350 RBI in 404 games across those seasons in the Korean Baseball Organization.
