MLB rumors: Giants sign outfielder Brandon Guyer to minor league contract

With a week until the first players start showing up at Scottsdale Stadium, the Giants reportedly have added an outfielder to a mix that figures to be heavy on platoons. The Giants signed veteran Brandon Guyer to a minor league contract, according to USA Today's Bob Nightengale. Guyer joins Joey Rickard and Jamie Westbrook as non-roster invitees in the outfield.
