The San Francisco Giants played their first Cactus League game against their archival the Los Angeles Dodgers. The team from the Southern part of the golden state took an early lead that the Giants were unable to overcome. By the end of the fourth inning the Dodgers were up 6-1 on the Giants. The Dodgers would extend their lead and win the game 10-4.
